Space heaters. A lot of folks use them, especially if they don't use a lot of rooms in their house often, to cut down on gas bill costs. I've used a variety of them in the past, and lately have settled on this one I got last year, which keeps the room it's in nice and toasty while not devouring electricity like some of my prior ones. It's worked well for me so far, though it tends to make the room incredibly dry. I guess this is a thread for space heater recommendations, preferences, posting the type you typically use, that sorta thing. If there's a better space heater than that one above, I'd love to hear about it. Maybe something with a built-in humidifier, there's a humidifier version of the above one but it's absolute garbage and two separate humidifier attachments broke within a month of use for me.

I only use them in my garage (gas is $39/mo here) but I have two. One is just a cheapo from Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Patton-Electric-Utility-Milkhouse-Heater-PUH680-WM1/17808701 For temporary use in the garage, it works fine especially for under $20. Very basic, no frills unit but has been reliable for the past few years. The other is a wall mount unit that is basically a heat lamp similar to this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Nomura-NPO-12B08-Electric-1200W-Halogen-Patio-Garage-Wall-Mounted-Heater-Black-Coated/38297242 It's nice if I'm directly under it working on one of my motorcycles or something, but if you're more than 5-6 ft off center it doesn't do any good.

The Dyson one looks amazing but is also ludicrously expensive.
