If it'd been made in the west it'd probably be on Fate 6: the wizard guy from the first game is a 50-something guy with a beard and a surrogate child figure by now. I don't know if that'd be any better, to be honest. Fate/hollow ataraxia is the VN sequel. Aside from that it is basically a huge mess of different reimaginings and hey guys this time we used the characters that we designed in the prototype or whatever. It's not as if it hasn't been milked to death, though perhaps in a different way than you might see in western IP. I don't think there'd be nearly as many little Saber figures hanging around, for one. Trap sprung, I guess.

Even more frustrating is when one of their tentpoles just becomes completely unplayable. Like I get that Mario Sunshine wasn't exactly the most popular one in the franchise and that it suffers a bit more from being tied to a time in gaming where annoying scavenger hunts were totally acceptable, but it's bogus that I can't even buy an overpriced version of it to play on the Wii U. I thought one of the issues with bringing a game like Sunshine over was the lack of analog triggers? I haven't played it but I understand you need that to control the water pressure.

Also, none of the ones that say "urgent" actually are, right, like I can just let them sit in my questbox until I get to them. If a notice doesn't give you a quest or witcher contract then it might drop a question mark on your map near a bandit camp or something. Besides that it's just flavor, like the one advertising lessons in Nilfgaard's tongue in White Orchard.
