Casino Royale would be the best movie if the third act didn't last for nine hours. Actually, the best movie would be if they turned the book Moonraker into a movie, because that book is fantastic.Turbinosamente posted:Wait why was Spectre poo poo? You'd probably like it. It's more lighthearted than the other Craig movies. There's some goofy sight gags, like during the car chase, the fight on the train is outstanding, and M is cool. Although on the other hand there's a few times in the film that I just had to stop and ask, "So why are they here?", plus they had to ruin everything by trying to add continuity between films which is something they never had.

They ground the movies immediately following the most outlandish ones, but none of them said "You know all those other Bond movies? Yeah, those don't count. Check out how Bond really gets going!" But I guess with a film like Die Another Day, that's the only way to follow it up.
