Ok so this might have been asked already but why isn't a real studio making a Star Citizen? I mean all the backer dollars that have been thrown at this means there is a real interest in this kind of game... So why hasn't someone else made an X-wing or Wing Commander game? If ED added some sort of story or real missions that's work, (I wouldn't mind space legs) and Bethesda is working on Starfield (but I'd be surprised if it had actual flying, I'm expecting Mass Effect style loading screen based travel) but that seems to be it. Oh and NMS I guess...
