As kids we tended to enjoy anything we watched, from the Super Mario movie to 3 Ninjas High Noon at Mega Mountain. So why not share the dumb movies you loved as a kid? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2Nd-Qo3TeY My sister and I used to watch this movie all the time, I haven't met anyone else who has ever even heard of it or these 2 guys but apparently they had a string of horrible children's movies.

The GI Joe animated movie, Firewalker ( Norris + Lou Gossett), Blind Fury (Rutger Hauer) Masters of the Universe, and so many more. We didn't have cable, and my dad emptied out a bankrupt movie rental place at an auction, so we had a ton of stupid movies, like the American Ninja series.

There was a 90's movie fad of making funny pages comic strips into movies, one of these was Richie Rich, an awful movie I used to watch a lot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJJQ44fdDws not macaulay culkin's finest work....

My brother was obsessed with the not very good John Larroquette, Kirstie Alley vehicle Madhouse when I was a kid. I don't know why we had it on tape or if he even liked it or was just pranking me. I've probably seen it 100 times.

It wasn't lovely but I wore out a copy of The Last Starfighter that my parents had recorded from HBO when I was four or five. By the time I was ten or so it was basically unwatchable.

Loved the Super Mario Bros. movie as a kid. Let's be honest, though, it's still one drat funny and entertaining movie, even if it's for all the wrong reasons.

I saw this for the first time just a year or two ago, and it's not ANYWHERE near as lovely as its reputation would have you believe. I found it rather fun and imaginative, actually. I think kids just hated it because it's so different from the game.

They're not as bad as you think. In fact, they're pretty average as movies go. The first film was a semi-jingoistic hard-on of American exceptionalism meets Republican war fantasy, but easy to just ride with it, like Advanced Warfare. The second film was a more serious "America and the Soviets learn they can work together" action epic that has some genuinely deep discussion on how opposing sides might view each other. Also, the protagonist of the first film ("Thumper") dies in the first five minutes after panicking, and attempting to dogfight the Migs escorting them back to US/international airspace. Never seen the third, but I know it has a "Nazi tech that could've won them the war" plot. Mister Facetious fucked around with this message at 02:34 on Dec 3, 2016 |

I love the lovely 1990 Captain America film. It was awful, but entertainingly so. Cap is a total loser, he fails utterly in almost everything he does, he gets clowned on constantly, and when he tries to rescue the captured president, he gets his rear end kicked until the secret service arrives to save the day. The perfect B movie.GonSmithe posted:I used to love Biodome when I was younger, I would watch it every single time it was on TV. One of my coworkers loved Biodome more than life itself. We worked night shift in an Air Force bunker, and two of us had to be indoors at all time (out of a three man team). We took turns picking films to watch. He picked Biodome all the goddamn time, and we'd fight over who got to leave and who had to stay and suffer. What I'm saying is, if your name is Chris and you are (were?) in the U.S. Air Force, I'll never forgive you.
