In my memory it's always the opposite. Planes Trains is really good but that's a Thanksgiving movie, I'm a big fan of Love Actually and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and of course Die hard at Christmas.

What's a good one to show a bunch of Jamaican kids and/or adults? I thought National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation for the latter and a Rankin Bass special for the former but maybe somebody has better ideas.

I like a Nora Ephron movie called Mixed Nuts a lot. Good cast. From that mid/late-90s period where Steve Martin did a bunch of good movies like LA Story and Bowfinger.
