The Jonbenet reference was tongue in cheek. Which is part of the problem with things like this. I only half take it seriously, but I take it very half-seriously! I know a lot of people do the same. It becomes difficult to separate genuine belief from a person poking fun at their own genuine belief. At the same time, this case is way more legit than actual pizzagate. This case has real life victims. Not that we have solid proof of victimization, but actual people claim to have been victims. Pizzagate does not have that. The Franklin Coverup has in depth investigation including videotapes of interviews with people who claim to be victims. Pizzagate does not have that. The Franklin Coverup has convictions of related crimes. Pizzagate does not have that. If they are both lies, The Franklin Coverup is The Lord of The Rings and Pizzagate is Harry Potter slashfic.

actually, the more I think about #pizzagate, the madder I get, because in the context of previous pedophile ring conspiracies, there are some tropes that always turn out to be completely loving false every time, and if whatever rear end in a top hat/s who worked on this put a second of goddamn thought into it they'd figure out that real pedophiles don't actually have loving symbols hidden in signs or code messages or anything. Jerry Sandusky and Jimmy Savile didn't have secret codes or anything, there was no satanic bullshit, no secret boy-loving symbols, but these dipshits are insistent that those hidden codes are gonna break everything open. You know what breaks everything open, the one thing that is going to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that #pizzagate is a load of poo poo? there are no victims. pedophiles in these sorts of situations don't kidnap or kill their victims like the lying assholes here think they do, they simply use their position of power as a method of discrediting the children and keeping other people blind. When Sandusky and even Bill Cosby started to see more accusations, it became a snowball rolling down a hill, because the victims don't actually disappear, they just get shamed into being quiet. This is a "pedophile ring" with no living victims, which only exist in the fevered minds of whack job conspiracy theorists and the assholes who are getting said whack jobs all hot and bothered. Even in a case like Franklin, the whole reason it seems more believable is because the primary evidence came from actual victims, not perceived symbols and codes. edit: lol i got whooshed and beaten to my own point
