It was surprisingly low on trivia time, but it was 11am to 4pm with no breaks of coding on paper. An alloc-free vector, small packet optimized data store, recursive mutex, lockless stack, lockless single linked list, lockless double linked list, binary tree validation, binary tree serialization, and probably others my mind has frizzled on already, they kept feeding me puzzles and not food.

A few questions on SPARC details and even SunOS constructs, oh yay thanks.

i always use 172.16.24.0/24 for home networks because 172.16 is super underused and chances of VPN collision are low and the third quad just makes it basically unique ip space

i mean lots of VPN's use 172.16/12 but they avoid 172.16 for purposes of home network collision, generally, so picking a /24 further up seemed good :seemsgood:

RFC 1918 space i inherited at currentjob was so mangled i had to end up designating 172.24.0.0/16 as my rebuild space

same. my left shoulder is super hosed. ive been doing a lot of yoga of late and its really revealing to me how much of a number i did on my hip and shoulders over the years. i think weightlifting was honest-to-god worse on my shoulders than all the jiu-jitsu and mma poo poo i did.

I need to do that yoga but I can't get motivated to do it! I tore my rotator cuff (not badly) playing rugby, but that bad tackle was likely just the straw that broke the camel's back
