The orchestras are all full-time union players so they're expected to know their stuff on their own and usually just get one or two rehearsals with the conductor before performances.

i never played a james pond game, but iirc they were made/published by the same people who did the Creatures series, which was a virtual life sandbox with some of the more advanced genetics and ai ever seen in a game. the soundtrack was very atmospheric between the games but mostly quite good.

The somewhat cartoony art direction has also helped the graphics in not looking too outdated I feel.
