I voted turn left, and appreciate the construction of your ethical dilemma. Obviously I would prefer not to die, but I would be unwilling to risk the lives of others to resolve a situation that I would blame myself for being in, whether fair or not. However, if death were certain by turning left I'd probably try to thread a path between the woman and the sidewalk while blaring my horn because I'm not *that* selfless
