He's been extremely poor for about 4 years. It's weird because he was awesome for the first few years at Villa and even won player of the season but then he got very very bad. Actually it's not that weird when you think about the utter dross that was in front of him for the latter half of his time here. I'm sure he'd do fairly ok'ish in a competent team again.

Our defence is fine now minus Hutton. Chester and Baker are a class partnership and Amavi is a top talent for the future. It's just RB we have a problem with because we bought De Laet but then he got injured for the whole season so we're relying on Alan Hutton who is terrible, but he tries at least. What we need is a solid keeper who won't gently caress up at least once every game and two new midfielders. And a striker I guess because Ayew and Kodjia are off to Africa and Gestede is gone.

Hourihane has 6 goals 11 assists in 25 games, Lansbury has 6 goals 3 assists in 17, Adomah has 3 goals 5 assists in 20. I'm excited to see our new midfield going forward. It's a step up from Ashley "5 goals 11 assists in 147 games" Westwood. I loving hate Ashley Westwood.
