This one specifically gets my heart racing and is everything I was wanting. We do have sales tax to the tune of 6.85%. That would be about three grand, plus there will be insurance and EAG only ships in covered trailers (awesome) and is about $2200.

If the car had less than 50k miles maybe it would be a no brainer. I think that if I play the long game another can pop up and I'll be ready to buy it and spend less than $47k acquiring it.

that car is sweet but is there a reason you want the DCT instead of a 6speed?

The sprinkler system is unique herein that it only goes off in the room where the fire is detected as we learned in August. Most of the new construction here has an all on system so if you set your kitchen on fire your bedroom is gonna get soaked as well.

No, it's standard for almost all fire sprinkler systems to only apply water where the heat has become hot enough to pop the closest sprinkler heads. The idea that all the heads go off is a bad movie trope.

As it happens, I run Macs on an older PS2-based KVM, so I've got several of the adapters you needed, but I bough them all off of eBay. I like that you plug both the KB and M into them and just use one USB port. I'm mildly surprised that Office Depot didn't have at least the Belkin one.

edit: to be fair, I'm sure that they get to deal with Luddite idiots who read something on the internet all the time.

Unless you pull the little fire alarm handle.

That won't pop the heads either.

The only time all the heads will flow is with a deluge system, which you might find in a commercial building with lots of combustable materials.

Almost no residential systems have enough pressure or flow capacity to maintain more than a few open heads.

It would completely defeat the purpose of a fire sprinkler system to apply water everywhere when you need it to be contained to where the fire is active.

I was working retail at min wage when obamacare went in. The only thing it got me was an hours cut from ≈30 to a "don't you ever loving go over" hard limit of 25.

I was also visiting seattle recently, and ate a lot of fast food. Twice I had touch-screen menus to order from, with no worker to help. The guys who got let go when the min wage went up sure appreciate the higher wage they aren't earning.

Yet there's no evidence that people in Seattle have been negatively affected by the increase in minimum wage.

Just because you made your order on a terminal doesn't mean that person isn't employed there any more.

it's such a huge blessing i can't even begin to describe it

double payments might be going a bit overboard, you might just be better off saving most of that money or starting to contribute more of your pretax wages to a 401k, especially if your employer offers matching contributions and you aren't already taking them.

But it's not an option to eliminate the interest payment outright.

If you have a good rate on your loan there's little reason to do double payments--especially when TT is young and would greatly benefit from investing that same amount of money that would be going to the double payment as a real investment.

A few years ago my wife told me she wanted a kid. I didn't feel ready but her clock was ticking, so I poured everything I had into making that happen - switched to a higher paying career, worked two jobs, bought a house that I didn't like in a distant suburb with great schools and parks for the kiddo, started a college plan early and invested heavily. My relationship with my wife became less and less intimate as she went into nesting mode before our son arrived and it started to feel like she valued me as a generic coparent but not for who I am. Meanwhile I gave up drinking because it was messing with my sleep, can't exercise because of a back injury, can't see friends because I live too far away in this god forsaken suburb, and can't have sex because my wife has been interested all of two times in the past year. I have no outlets left and basically commute to work where I am barely keeping my head above water and commute home where my baby screams at me all night.

Last night my wife told me she was considering separating. Based on how little we share in interests and values at this point, I would strongly consider it, but we have a four month old now and I don't know if he'd be better off with us together or apart. I feel like I did everything I could and still let him down.

gently caress 2017.

blk, sounds like things are rough for you right now :( what is your wife's reasoning for wanting to separate? having a kid makes it really, really tough to have time as a couple (are either of your or her parents in the area) and to keep doing the hobbies that you've been used to doing.

Even if you feel like you're further apart (and getting blue balls) -- the first year is extremely tough, for just about everybody. Remember it's not always going to be this way and when you are planning to be with someone indefinitely you have time in the future to be close again.

Postpartum depression is no joke and it nearly spiraled out of control for my wife just past the 1 year mark but luckily she was willing and ready to go into treatment when I asked her to for alcohol.
