So I think I just accidentally trained my older dog to ask for help to get on the bed when he wants to lay down. He's got bad hips so he can't make the jump usually so I helped him 1 or 2 times. Now he comes in and asks for help and then runs into the room putting his front paws on the edge of the bed while wagging his stupid little stump of a tail at me.

He was doomed from the outset because his previous owner got him from a puppy mill, so he's tremendously inbred with massively hosed hips. He's loped around like a bear since day 1. Despite being a Habsburg genetically he's incredibly chill with an amazing temperament. He just scares the poo poo out of everyone anyway because people see Rottweiler and instinctively poo poo their pants. He turns 6 next month and he's basically an old man already when it comes to his hips.
