SquirrelyPSU posted:I mean, all dogges are very good dogges, but Monty is a Very Good Dogge. I went to my aunt's house for Christmas and initially kept him on the porch with my cousin'a dog because he's usually obnoxiously affectionate to every new person/dog he sees, and my aunt has three accessory poodles (toy poodles). After about an hour my cousin wanted to bring her dog in so I said gently caress it and let Monty inside. I was so loving impressed with how well behaved he was. He mostly just walked around sniffing. My sister, who I don't speak to, was talking about her dog, and how earlier in the day she beat the gently caress out of her for something. Beat her so bad that my sister would just look at her and she would cower in fear. I wanted to say something, but my aunt decided to royally bitch her out for abusing her dog, and gently caress I enjoyed the spectacle. Still feel bad for the dog though :/

I'm hanging with Monty and I might even drink a beer! I've had a 12 pack sitting in my fridge for like six months and I've only drank one and a half out of it. I mostly keep it for company to drink but I never have people over.

I would like to experience Times Square on New Years once but only to say I did it. Other than that I don't see the point of standing around outside being cold.

I put myself on a strict diet and workout regimen recently so that I can lose my pudge and maybe get some abs. I'm not fat. I'm more like a skinny guy with a gut. Dieting is hard when you've spent the last two years shoveling your face full of every junk food you could find, and you ate out of boredom a lot of times.

I've drastically changed almost everything about my lifestyle to try and be healthier. I used to be able to shovel down an entire pizza from dominos and be fine but I ate four slices about a month ago and about an hour later I noticed my fingers were all swollen. My lunch today? Strawberries, carrots, raspberries, grapes, apples, and almonds and 20oz of water And no I'm not on a fruit diet. Just fruit and veggies for lunch.

Being on a strict diet loving sucks. Maybe I should have weened myself off of the 5000 calories or whatever stupid amount I was eating instead of going cold turkey to a 2500 calorie diet. Dinner isn't for three loving hours and I'm starving. I'm also going through nicotine withdrawals because I picked smoking up again when I went home a couple weeks ago and just quit again a few days ago and that's probably not helping. boop the snoot fucked around with this message at 21:04 on Jan 2, 2017 |

I haven't had a soda since New Year's Eve which is legit the longest I've gone in like three months. I'm not craving it though because it's overshadowed by wanting a cigarette. One benefit of winter is it's too cold to go outside and smoke. Unless you're in the army. I would go out and smoke in the middle of a tornado if it meant getting out of some poo poo detail for a few minutes.

Cooking meals from scratch can shave off 400-500 calories a day. When school starts back up I won't have time to cook dinner every night so I started cooking in bulk. It is not as awesome as pizza or a cheeseburger but it's definitely way healthier. I started doing it about a week and a half ago and I already notice that I'm sleeping better and it is easier to wake up every morning. Bought a kindle paperwhite finally. Read game gonna be strong.

one of the most annoying things about the VA is that they send me mail, but they send the exact same piece of mail to my aunt's house. i have called to try to remedy this, but nothing ever changes so i just kind of gave up trying. at least my aunt is cool about it. they send maybe two or three pieces of mail a month. speaking of mail, i'm hype as gently caress to be getting my kindle on thursday.

no bones about it posted:Well I'm 70 miles from the nearest VA medical center and it's the Atlanta VA so lmao at the idea of getting an appointment in a timely manner. Maybe I'll be able to use the choice card to go to Northeast GA Medical Center in Gainesville. Much closer, clean, and also really good doctors. If you have an issue with the care you get at the local in/out facility, they can send you to a third party provider. For example, there is an one psychiatrist at the in/out facility here. I have a drug problem, in that if you give me benzos, I will not use them the way they are supposed to be used. I was up front with the psych doctor here about my drug issues and he, not five minutes later, prescribed me benzos anyway. I told the main VA hospital in my region about it and they sent me to a third party psych doc. Not sure how you can use this info to your advantage, but it helps to be informed!

Anybody got an exercise bike? I'm thinking about getting one to use in the mornings to start my day since it's getting to the cold as gently caress season and running won't be an option. I don't know anything about brands or what to look for, but there are three things I want: 1) affordability. My budget is ~$500. If I need to spend a little bit more, I possibly could. But not substantially more. 2) I need a place to put a book/kindle. 3) I want this style more or less (the way the seat is set up in relation to the handle bars):

Apple Music is stupid and having to sync my iTunes library with my phone via wifi with no other option is stupid. Thanks for listening.
|
|
# ¿ Jan 6, 2017 16:27 |
I'm just doing hard syncs now. I ditched Apple Music in favor of Spotify. My options were: 1) not be able to sync songs I manually put in my iTunes library (and when you make music for people this isn't an option) Or 2) turn off iCloud music library, which eliminates the ability to download any music from Apple Music, forcing me to use data if I want to listen to anything other than the songs I manually put on my phone through a hard sync. I pay $4.99/mo for music. I don't need that artificially inflated because of data usage. Or 3) ditch iTunes and get Spotify. Which is a small inconvenience because I enjoyed having everything consolidated into a single app.

Yo I'm going on a cruise to Mexico in May. My second cruise. Some lessons I learned from the first (and only) cruise I took in 2011: 1) don't take all my money with me 2) don't drink as much 3) avoid the casino. My question is, can you spend cash on a cruise and/or the ports in Mexico? If not, can I get a reloadable visa and just put like $500 on it?
