Been visiting a buddy who has a full HOTAS setup, and a racing wheel with a three monitor display, along with a Vive. Holy poo poo, VR is amazing. Google Earth VR is probably worth it alone if you have it the room, and Super Hot VR is fun as gently caress. He threw me in some realistic military shooter's multiplayer, and my team got really mad when the first thing I did was flashbang all of them. Flew an F-15 around and crashed it when I tried to land at 450 knots.

Hitman is really fun. Crushed a guy with a massive stage display then threw a screwdriver into his wife's head and bugged out in his helicopter after compromising almost every disguise I used.

Alright, I'm staring down the barrel of two months of convalescent leave, during which I won't really be able to walk, so I need some game recommendations. I've got a PS4, Xbox One and a decent gaming laptop so I'm open to anything. I hear Battletech is where it's at right now, but I've also got The Witcher 3 with all the DLC which I haven't really played at all, along with a ton on other stuff. Not really into stuff that's too difficult, just something kind of easy to zone out and play. Was thinking of restarting a town in Stardew Valley.

The two latest DLCs are barely worth playing. You'll finish the new missions in a couple of hours, and then it's back to grinding for higher level stuff to infuse.

My buddy has a nice HOTAS setup and a VR headset and spends probably 90% of his free time flying planes around in DCS. The last time I messed around with it I hit the flight ceiling in an F-15 and then tried to land on full afterburner and ended up cratering it into the runway. Fun stuff.

The new Tetris is like Lumines but official Tetris. It's very good and I'm going to finish RDR2 tonight so I can get high as gently caress and play that all weekend.

I killed the game from the menu at that point. The second match I got into before the game started, and you can freely kill the other players before the game even starts. That match ended when the game crashed. After that I said gently caress it and went to Blackwater and started killing every living thing I set my eyes on, with no repercussions except for bullets lost.

There is a multiplayer only upgrade tree, which gives you a lot of options for customization. It's fun. If you're into planes or want a good arcade flight game it's worth $60, otherwise it's a solid $40 game.

I keep doing missions where it'll be like "first half, ground assault" so I'll take an A-10 with A2G missiles, then the second half is all dogfighting so I'm trying to take out SU-30s and poo poo in an A-10. It's dumb and fun.

I bought a Switch on Friday. It's great, picked up Mario Odyssey, Pokémon Let's Go! Pikachu, and Smash Bros. I'm really enjoying all three, but can't decide which to keep playing. Also, those three games took up almost all of the internal memory so I went to the Best Buy for an SD card. Best they had was 64 gigs for $50, and I checked Amazon and they had a 128 gig for $25 shipped. So, that'll be here Wednesday.
