So AGDQ just set a record for how much they raised for cancer the other day and it is still going up. This is a speed run thing that is a week long and has raised over 2 million dollars to help fight against cancer.

World of Tanks and other games like it suck if you like to collect everything or get to the end tier. As F2P, it used to be lovely to get past Tier 4, but it was a fun tier. I didn't really like going above it. I ended up getting to tier 10 but that gameplay isn't nearly as fun. I wish armored warfare was a bit better though since that has modern tanks.

It is a really cool game where the dev has long lengthy posts about neat poo poo and implements something real good when he does it instead of doing it early. Honestly surprised you guys don't have it yet. It is amazing to play. Pretty much mount and blade space game. Mods make it key and the developer has done a lot of great work on it. Exploring and salvaging were the last updates that I saw him do and they were really nice.

Re starsector Mount and blade rules, so you suck at the start. Go fly around the pirates and either find small fleets to engage or wait for hegemony to engage something and join in. You can also go a different path and raid nearby traders but poo poo is gonna get weird. It does take awhile to build up. OR Go here http://fractalsoftworks.com/forum/index.php?topic=177.0 Get Nerexelin which has advanced starts and download all the factions you want You may have to also get 64 bit java since it comes with 32 bit java (unless that changed) Nerexelin has a lot of stuff in it which will be coming in future updates anyways.

Haha they still require you to change the java. So make sure you got 64 bit java. Go copy it from your programfiles/java folder into the jre folder of star sector. Change the vmparams for 2-4 gigs. Add mods. Done. Here is a zip of the mods that I use and a 2-4 gig vmparam file. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/51199280/Starsector%20mods.zip This lets you skip the lovely start, get right into the combat, also pick a faction to start with.

it has some huge issues with 4v4 apparently since it is peer to peer, expect lag, people to disconnect when losing which means waiting for host migration over and over but it is fun is 1v1 or 2v2 wait one year for them to fix it or get their heads out of their rear end about no dedicated servers
