I can't believe they are making an entire week out of chocolate big. It's not even like that in my experience as a retail store chocolate connoisseur.

In reality, the manufactures like to add more empty space inside the package so that they can charge you more but actually it's the same amount of chocolate or less.

My wife and I really like the new Riverdale show. We started watching it for nostalgia but did not have high hopes. It went off the rails, what-the-gently caress crazy almost immediately and it is awesome. Homeless Jughead whose dad is a gang member, Moose trying to hook up with token gay kid Kevin, Hermione Lodge and Archie's (both still married) dad maybe having a fling because Mr Lodge is in jail for white collar crime and Fred and Mary are separated, Archie sleeping with a MILF teacher who stole someone else's identity because of an abusive ex-husband, Betty's sister pregnant with Jason Blossom's child (who was murdered before the first episode, Jason, not the baby) but also stuck in a Christian mental hospital (except she just escaped by jumping out of a window), every adult on the show being a horrible, horrible person. It's beautiful and amazing. Also, Archie is struggling to choose between his love of music and his love of football (because he is buff as gently caress now).
We look forward to it almost as much as Supergirl every week.

I almost watched it this weekend but watched The Babadook instead. It's been a few years since I've watched Who Framed Roger Rabit?, but the bad CGI was still bad and the good CGI was still good. The mixing of cartoon and live action has never been done better.

It is nauseating. That is not how humans work, it is not how "attractiveness" works, it is not how love works. Yeah, they just found out they should be best friends. That's it. She never found him attractive and it wasn't because of his lack of pop-culture knowledge; it was because he is not attractive.
It's a sad parable that feeds into the "if I put enough 'friend' in, 'sex' comes out" mindset of manchildren who end up going MRA or MGTOW because stupid bitches don't deserve how awesome they are (if only they'd notice!).

I find it particularly revolting because I grew up during the birth of the "friend zone" like many of you probably did. Before that, it didn't have a name because it didn't need one. If you were a weird jerk with an oblivious female friend, you were just a weird jerk. Now you get to blame the woman for it and fantasize that she just doesn't see how great you are and it is sickening.

Like oh my God I hate this arc worse than Dustin and I'm sure the target audience is furiously masturbating over how perfect it is because it is exactly what they want but will never, ever have (well, maybe 0.01% will get lucky) because that isn't how relationships work.

I mean, god drat. If you aren't attracted to someone, then you aren't. Sucks, but that's life. if you can't handle being friends with someone you want to bone, then don't be friends. Before I was 20, I realized I could be friends with someone much more attractive than me, acknowledge how hot they were, and then not want to have sex with them. Because I was an adult.
