I suppose I could also just ring the bell from the word go, but I don't want to open myself up to unwanted co-op, nor do I want to keep pulling out the separation crystal-equivalent. :shrug:

If you've got a password set, anyone trying to co-op with you HAS to use the password, or they can't connect to your game. Otherwise there wouldn't be much point in having a password system.
