Cool things this year for SDSU:

1. Won the MWC again
2. Double digit wins again
3. Led the country in interceptions
4. Beat the shot out of Houston in the Las Vegas Bowl
5. Ended the season ranked in both the AP and Coaches polls
6. Donnell Pumphrey became the NCAA all time rushing leader.

I like being the Aztecs because it's unique and I'd rather be unique than one of 20 Tigers or Wildcats or Warriors or something generic.

I've never once thought it was offensive or have it even cross my mind as being offensive, but I am super white so I don't know why it would have.

SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State canceled Monday night's football practice to try to quell an outbreak of chickenpox among players.

The school said that would give workers time to clean and disinfect the weight room and locker room.

Practice is scheduled to resume Tuesday afternoon.

SDSU spokeswoman Gina Jacobs said there are five confirmed cases and the school is in touch with the County Public Health Services.
