The main advantage of brother tape is that they have 100 different color and background combinations. I got a Zink color photo printer recently, the papers don't have extra layers of lamination and still seem to be pretty weather proof like a glossy sticker. So maybe new technology has solved that problem.

And the few reviews I found on YT don't actually look into the labels themselves - how well they stick, if they're laminated, how they resist water, dirt, heat etc. I think I'll just get the Brother clone as the safest option.

I ordered $10 worth of stuff during the Big Sale©️ Two 3-in-1 "100w" USB cables which top out at about 4w, ten on-off SPST switches that are actually pretty decent and worth the cost, a 12v buck converter that I haven't tested yet but seems good and a lashing strap that didn't show up. Instead I got a sealed bag with some kind of broken ceramic figure?? Only the broken bits weren't in the bag with it. Now I might buy a gyro ball. Also a thermal imaging camera but no idea how to pick one out of the sea of choices

I brought quite a few 1-to-3 rollup cables from Temu. You pull out both ends from a square box, and can make the cable retract back when you are done. I find them super convenient for travel. I got a couple in my car and one in each of my travel bags.

Yeah this "100W" cable I had had no problems delivering the 90W that my laptop required. I did not know there had been issues with charge cable capacity.

USB-C made everything more complicated. https://www.theverge.com/2016/2/3/10905432/usb-c-cable-fries-google-engineers-computer I only buy Anker cables if I need USB-C PD or, in a pinch if I have to go to a physical store, Apple or Samsung assuming the rating is on the package.

i like the magnetic adapters because they keep pocket lint out of the real usb connector, none of mine have broken yet but when they do i have a couple spare adapters they are pretty compatible too, but i hosed up the recessed usb port on my crappy doogee android phone. the adapter got wedged in the hole, the cable wouldn't snap on properly and i broke some plastic while trying to pry it back out lesson learned, do not try to lever out a usb-c connector from only one side
