Ugh, who sells ear rings by the piece and not the pair? It was on the listing as 1 piece, but still annoying.

I've been looking for the Ali equivalent of the ikea decking: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90238111/

I must not be using the right words, because the Ali pricing is $12-15 per tile, instead of about $2.30.

Maybe it's just not reasonable to ship it and I'm paying the price.

I ordered the Law & Order pin, and got some other one instead. Are sellers generally responsive to messages, or should I just dispute? Or try ordering again because it was only $1?

I've thought about buying a bunch of cheap pairs of headphones to hand out on the train to people who 'forgot' their headphones. On the other hand, I don't want to get stabbed.

Finally got my L&O pin. The middle one I didn't order, but was sent to me in the first batch in place of the L&O one. From this store: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/3686021?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.438c4c4dzLohjR

AliExpress sellers really love trying it on...

"We will refund immediately" then they offer $0 in the dispute hoping I hit the wrong button or something.

Hello friend please close the dispute and then I can paypal you a refund in full.

I ordered this pig purse:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32978747818.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.5cd34c4dkouxDa

It came quickly. It needed to be reshaped a little after arriving, but was in good shape.

I ended up buying the pig version of this, from Amazon though as it was cheaper. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BRN5CBV

Thanks for the inspiration.

Yes, my house is now like 95% pigs.

Apparently my 7 year old is getting a Super Mario Bros birthday party in November... Any great stuff on Ali for this? I saw some plush keychains for like a dollar that I'll probably get as party favors (should be around 10 kids max)

November might be a bit soon for you to get your stuff. Usually it's fine, but you might want a backup.

Actually this one seems way less terrifying than everything else.
In fact it seems basically the same as the real tool

Edit: for reference https://sydneytools.com.au/product/makita-dbs180z-18v-liion-cordless-brushless-9mm-power-file-belt-sander-skin-only

"skin-only" is really freaking me out.

I ordered some crap from Temu last night. They already shipped and sent me a USPS tracking number with expected delivery between the 11th and 20th. It shows up in official tracking as label created, as expected. It also says I can get a full refund if it's late.

You guys know China processes 60% of the world lithium right? And also produces 75% of the global lithium battery.

As long as you buy the battery from a shop with high feedback and high sales volume, you are fine.

I was offered "pay after delivery" as an option on my order. I guess that saves them the credit card fees when they inevitably refund it.

If the car doesn't already have aux you can probably find an aftermarket adapter that plugs into the back of the stock radio to add a port

I have an adapter that connects to the "multi disc CD changer" port so the track skip controls on my steering wheel work. I don't think the CD changer was still an option when my car was new, but the port was still there.

An extra three digits is weird, I'd expect four for the ZIP+4 number.
