For the goon asking about bike helmets, I commute to work wearing something like this(solid black color, bought at a real dealership and not ali). I like it since I'm worried I'd lose teeth if I ever fell, and I don't want road rash on my face. I also don't care if it looks strange since no one can see who I am when I'm wearing the helmet anyway.

Speaking of helmets, I found this goofy rear end baby helmet.

I was going to mention that. I've heard of grinder attachments before that are just chainsaw teeth and it's meant to quickly chew up wood that you'll later come back and smooth out. Used in something like a totem pole carving.

I can't imagine what that this grinder is for. Like what angle are you supposed to use for that blade? Are they just flat metal or is there something special about the design?

I got a disappointment, first one in a while. I bought the cheapest mousepad I could find.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32733104325.html
The description says its 2mm thick, but that seems generous. I've now noticed other mousepads are saying 0.2mm which is about right. You know how most are a sheet of plastic or fabric on top of a rubber material? This one is just the fabric.

Went straight to trash. Which brings me to another Ali experience, Do you all ever feel guilty for having something made and shipped across the world, only for it to go straight into the trash?

If, for name-brand consumer electronics delivered in good working order (including 3rd party vendors):

Aliexpress is a 1
Walmart is a 2
Amazon is a 3.5 or so now they don't bin items from different vendors (counterfeit samsung microsd)
Newegg is a 4
Costco is a 5

This is from a few pages back, but 3rd party sellers really ruined all of these, except maybe Costco because I've only ever been in the store and don't know about their 3rd parties online. You're right that Amazon has gotten a better, but there was a time when I would go to a Walmart store for things like SD cards or chargers because somehow Walmart had better quality than what I was getting online. Of course, everyone started to mimic Amazon and every large site is garbage if you don't pay attention to who the seller is, otherwise you're just better off getting things from Ali
