chumbler posted:That whole half of the episode was entirely new. It's new-ish, but it uses plot elements from later chapters. Kyoani tends to do their best at expanding adaptations when they know the direction of where the original is heading towards, so a lot of new stuff in the anime is dabbling into themes that are more established in the manga.
