Also, street thugs just can't resist fighting anyone who has that old man smell.

No, but once you get Busy Bee Saki you basically have someone who never needs a break and so you can have her and some gold-rank hostesses carry the club while your Platinums recover.

I think it also helps on extension if the girl fits his other criteria. Like a guy may get purple happy face if he came in looking to party and you gave him high party skill, but if he also prefers cute and the girl is an X on cute he's less likely to extend, but pretty much always would if she was double circle cute. I'm not sure if that's 100% true but what I've seen anecdotally supports it.

Sometimes the game of the year comes out in January

Slot Cars game turned out more fun than I expected, especially with all the crazy 8 year old drama sidestories. Shogi can go to hell, I'm not going to bother to learn that. I enjoyed capping out the Real Estate and Caberet Clubs and that got me enough fat stacks to upgrade all the abilities I cared about plus do a good portion of the legendary trees.

I'm almost done with the main story and I think I have almost all of the actual substories aside from maybe one of the telephone girls, and that's probably going to be good enough for me after I finish the story, I'm not crazy enough to need full completion on all the minigames. I do the opposite, I always wander off to do side poo poo at the earliest possibility. I'm a simple man, I leveled everyone to get all of the easy attainable cross-class skills (basically everything like level 12 or below), and then dumped everyone into a class where their normals regain MP so I could spam skills all the time. So I been running Fortuneteller/Host/Hostess/Idol (Nanba spoiler and Homeless Guy when he is around) for most of the game.

Of course, cross-leveling all those classes early means I've been ridiculously overlevelled for most of the game, I think I was like level 30 in chapter 6, so it hasn't much mattered what I do for a long time now.

As for AOE, the shield bash one in Enforcer is cross-classable, has a surprisingly wide range, and you get it at level 4 or 6, I forget which, so you can get it in like two minutes. For the ladies, I think I've been using the Night Queen kick, although for the party member in Idol she usually hits the "all enemies defense way down plus charm" button first.
