Saw Hacksaw Ridge. Without knowing who were responsible, I thought the script and directing was pretty mediocre. Certainly would be disappointed if this was considered the best of the year. Andrew Garfield was good, but nothing remarkable. What really did stand out for me was Hugo Weaving as his dad. I was sitting on nails every time he was on screen. Holy crap that was a good performance.
