I took them while driving through Loop Road in Big Cypress. Lots of alligators along the side of the road, and the occasional black vulture and barred owl

Looks like an elephant Hawk-Moth. They have nectar sucking mouth parts, so I guess some honey might do? I dunno

It’s easy to get close up photos if you have a jerk of a cat that constantly brings the poor guys into the house to harass them, and you have to carry em back out. They don't appreciate it.
