also the issue with d&d isn't that the players should be forced to track meaningless things like ammo or rations, it's that they shouldn't constantly have to play mother-may-i with the dm when they want to do something interesting in combat or otherwise 4e enabled this with having useful and effective mechanics at all levels of play, 5e is caster supremacy poo poo where "dm empowerment" was the goal and it shows with its lovely, lovely mechanics

Uhh Yeah Dude, Chapo Trap House, and Cum Town are my favourite podcasts. For those who feel like Hardcore History is overrated, keep a look out for when a new podcast from @trillburne comes out called Age of Napoleon. He seems to do good research and he's a good poster.
