TMS is my candidate for the best game nobody has played. Love the music, the artstyle, the combat and the dungeons. Plus, I've been sort of waiting for a LP, because a gameplay element gave me a fun idea for people to give fanart of.

Okay, can I just be the first person to say that I loving love whoever designed this game's weapons? They look cool and artistic and fancy and I love it. Itsuki's Falcion is simple, but elegant. The golden... leafing, I want to say? I'm no weapon expert. The swirly-handle stuff. It looks nice. Tsubasa's Iron Feather is very pretty, it has this nice swirling to it and the colors look nice. Touma's Iron Lance has the cool inverse triple prongs and the chain wrapped around it that makes it looks very stylized.

By the way, I guess I should point something out: Itsuki's last name, Aoi, is the Japanese word for azure, a shade of blue. Most Lords in the series have blue hair. Tsubasa means "wing" in Japanese. A character in Touma's name means "horse", while his surname, Akagi, means "Red castle".

Am I the only one who sees Traport as Caeda flying the party out of the dungeon? Or Estoma as Touma throttling the Cavalier motorcycle and saying something like "Out of the way, small fry! Hero, coming through!"?

Gentle Embrace actually has another effect: If Tsubasa is in the active party, the other two members heal more HP with THEIR healing skills as well. It's nice for Itsuki (he can learn some single-target healing spells) as well as party members 4 and 6, who both can also learn some healing magic. One thing about HP Fitness: Every character learns it at some point.

Another shown point of paying attention to detail is that characters can sometimes shout out the name of the next person in a Session. I know I've heard Tsubasa go "Touma-san!", and Touma go "Kiria!", and a few other characters do the same thing.

Fun little note: You see the necklace... thing that Touma's leopard print costume (which I agree is cool as hell and wish I could have in real life) is wearing? It's a cow skull, specifically a bull. In the original games, Cain's epithet was "The Bull".
