theflyingexecutive posted:there are a couple polls that looked at second choices and I don't know how well that matches up with the first choice returns so far. a few people have made comparisons with other races and found that 11% is a very sizable lead, but there have really been no comparable open field, low turnout, huge absentee share races there was a study going around twitter looking at all the RCV elections in the last 20 years or so and something like 97% of them had the same result as a normal first past the post election. the largest come from behind deficit was like 8%.
