He's not wrong here on any of the points. They've had the 90s transition in terms of stars and now it's another transition, the nuance relies in transitioning properly. They did it back then, but I'm a tad bearish that they can do it again partially because of how it's concentrated. Case in point, they decided to make Chase a star. I'm going to be generous here. He's not entirely wrong because streaming is very much a thing these days, and it does impact ratings for better or for worse. Secondly, I think he might be realizing that getting butts in the seats instead of on the couch may be a better goal from here on out. Then again, Brian France. Right on Danica, half-right on Kenseth. Matt is the epitome of "driver who is consistently in the hunt by placing in the top 10, but doesn't win races".
