Somehow Dragon Age: Origins and Alpha Protocol are my two most played games on Steam and I'm not sure how I racked up so many hours on the former (I suspect I left the game running while off doing other things) and I have mixed feelings about the latter just in general.

It doesn’t help that, at least for a long time, VNs basically had to have sex scenes in order to be published. So it’s not at all uncommon to see, for example, Fate Stay/Night get rereleased years later with all those scenes removed because by that point everyone knows the appeal of the franchise is all the other dumb bullshit

The last of us 2 had a good system imo where you could adjust specific parts of the difficulty.
