It is odd, the Windows-PC gaming unholy union. Like, Windows is getting bigger and more invasive. There are considerable system resources (especially storage) that's getting sucked up just for Windows's junk. My PC is 100% a video game device. Well, maybe 95% video games and 5% porn. So it's odd that there isn't a way to play video games on a leaner platform like how consoles operate. Though, I guess Xbox will be running a very small version of Windows 10 or something? I don't know.

here's a cool unpopular videogame opinion for ya Video games are better than movies at retelling a book. A book is a book, a video game is the cliffnotes, a movie is a drunk guy at a bar explaining the book to you. Movie's more entertaining but you miss out on a whole lot.

I played call of duty 2 recently actually and it holds up really well. Graphically, no, but gunning down my friends was funner there than in modern titles. Although I suppose it was rough having faction-based kits, but there also weren't killstreaks so.

Here's a truth missile for your fuckin' brains: video games are fun and cool forms of entertainment but if you look too closely at them, like any entertainment medium, it's pointless, shallow and empty. Like everything else in life, forever. Anyways here's an opinion: MMOs are fun ways to play co-operative RPGs with lots of people.

The confirm button in any video game had better be the bottom button-- what is the A button on Xbox or the X button on PS. And also Nintendo and Microsoft need to standardize their buttons. This A button being either the bottom or the right button is stupid.

There will never be a better multiplayer video game than Chromehounds. The best Battlefield game was Bad Company 2. People who put LED lights on or near their gaming PC are loving stupid. Final Fantasy games were only ever good for providing background to the music.

If you use a DS4 on PC most PC games don't have PS4 buttons so it'll still show a/b/x/y directions everywhere. You also need to run a program to use it, because PCs don't/can't connect to it natively or whatever.

If a game has an option to use a controller I'm loving trying it. Mouse and Keyboard is the optimal way to play games but it sure as poo poo isn't the funnest. There are exceptions but they are rare.

If a game is an RPG and your perspective is primarily over-the-shoulder it's gonna be a bad game and you shouldn't buy it. Unless it's Spiderman. These bullshit video games are basically just bad movies. The Last of Us style games. All bad, all dumb, don't play them. Except Spiderman.

Hi, nice to meet you! What, you're talking about Game of Thrones? Never watched it. So if you go down W 84th street it's a smooth drive-- about 1.5 miles before it turns into Main street, but for that 1.5 miles it's great. You're probably thinking to yourself "oh I enjoy driving down E 36th though" but I'm telling you, if you like E 36th, you'll love W84th. The sidewalks are pristine, hardly any litter. Spectacular. I don't want to talk about game of thrones, TV shows are so divisive there's no way to enjoy a conversation about TV. But this road, my God.

Remember when (maybe they still do this) they would rate video games based on a bunch of categories with "gameplay" being only one of those criteria? Isn't that stupid? It's like judging a book and saying the words within are one of the 5 criteria by which we judge. If it's an RPG, the gameplay always takes a backseat to story or whatever the gently caress making them bad games and usually bad stories. RPGs are this pretty much always bad with rare exception. Except spider-man.
