I've been ending my days recently by just running through 115-119 and cracking any ore veins I find and then hunting for geodes with my remaining energy and in just 2 or 3 days I've got 3 iridium bars from it so I'm probably never going to bother with skull mines.

i haven't played this in quite some time but it's nice how easy it is to get back into it. it's not like story of seasons, for example, where there's so much poo poo to keep in mind.

my house is too dark. what sweet decorating tricks are you imps using for lighting?

the thing in the sewer sells batteries (and just straight up iridium sprinklers) sometimes. might be worth checking once a day if you're in town.

So do pigs just leave truffles outside? I may move my barn and put a fence up + grass and give them their own plot

Yup. They count as foraged items so the perk that makes everything iridium quality affects it. And the one that gives chance of double

You can sell animals for a lot more money if you've had them a while and been petting them.. though I'm sure they are slaughtered for meat afterwards

Animals are a lot of work. To do well with them you need to poke each animal one or twice every day. In contract you only need to work on crops on the day you harvest and replant.

Animals are a really good investment overall, despite the work. Three jars of mayo sell for like 500g a day, which is great starting out.
