The best self published series are those books by that kooky lady Lovely Bahn or something like that. We had a great thread about her at one point a year or so ago. I'm on my phone right now, but I'll try to find that old thread and link it (unless someone else has the link). It was a really great piece of drama. Edit: Her name was Lovey Banh. Her Amazon page is great. Imgur apparently wants me to sign in, so I can't share a cover picture.
