I find Namor's relationship with the X-Men and mutantkind super interesting. The OP talks about how he'll always show up to defend Atlantis, but he's associated with the mutants almost as much nowadays. It would be really easy to wave off his flight ability as some silver age poo poo and just ignore how no other Atlantians do it, but making it an integral part of his identity really deepens an already complex character.
