The only way this works is if Bowles and Macc are given the time to actually rebuild. I have no problem with any of these releases or the impending Sheldon trade. If they fire them after going 4-12 next year then they're clowns.

I don't think Revis' primary motivation is preventing the Jets from recouping money. He supposedly still wants to play and as per usual he'll try and get maximum dollar to do so. I'm honestly surprised if the Jets aren't in on Bouye as well. I'm not sure if they want to jump in on paying a CB $14-15m per year when they're rebuilding but they need a starting CB and Macc helped draft him. Supposedly they're looking at Okung, Tony Jefferson, and the FB from Baltimore.
