morongo casino is hyping the fact that P.O.D. will be performing the weekend before Fat Tuesday and like holy poo poo P.O.D. is still a band? I dont even remember their songs other than like being lovely kinda metal and I think a song about a kid shooting up a school or somethign or getting shot at school maybe? Who the gently caress are they trying to appeal to with a band that had like 2 songs twenty years ago in a style of music that isnt even popular anymore, they were like metal/rappers or something right? I think thats what they were. Anyways anybody want to join me catching that P.O.D. set at morongo casino?

I saw POD once and they put on a good show but it was like twenty years ago. Their self-titled album, the one they released right after Satellite (the one everyone knows) was just godawful rasta poo poo and I genuinely thought it made the band break up. The Fundamental Elements of Southtown was pretty good wayyyyy back in the day, the title track and their cover of Bullet the Blue Sky were cool.
