This sandcast aluminum creation is the standard oil pan of a 60's 1.3 litre family sedan (Alfa Giulia): The best part is the 15 miles of gasket surfaces that are below the oil level on a part that's designed to have a temperature gradient across it. After all it wouldn't be an Alfa if it didn't leak.
