I think I'm gonna hold off on the Switch until Nintendo proves it's not going to have five games worth buying, total, over the course of its entire lifespan. (Hint: this is in fact 100% going to be the case because it's still underpowered compared to other consoles so nothing new worth a drat will get ported over and they're not killing off the 3DS, so any mobile game worth a drat won't be on Switch either)

Look, Nintendo would like to make another Metroid, it's just that they already covered how all women exist only to bear children and find ultimate self-realization through having babies while any rejection of that bio-truth is pure evil. It's not their fault that they've already addressed the totality of the female human experience and there's no other facets to address.

Yeah, stuff like America going to school at this perfect neoliberal bastion of tolerance and the arts and insane advanced technology and perfect loving harmony that apparently exists on our world and not some utopian parallel dimension was bad, and the fact that it's literally named Sonia Sotomayor University was worse, and then she's immediately greeted by rapping dancing Latinas and they're from mother loving Leelumultipass Phi Theta Beta sorority and holy poo poo, that's about two magnitudes of terrible worse than I can take.

Also everyone who meets America immediately reads her Wikipedia page out loud to her, it's very weird. Yes thank you we know she's affiliated with the Ultimates and Young Avengers and is a general mutliversal badass, please have everyone stop repeating those facts as their first reaction to meeting her, this is not how you build anyone's character ever.

Fine yes I got it twisted up with all the weird sci-fi bullshit that was being asserted as not only existing but being a totally normal thing and it made the "neo" prefix seem appropriate, sorry.

Yeah, Universal has the theme park rights I think literally east of the Mississippi? It's really arbitrarily geography-based, I remember that much. But Disney is barred by contract from doing Marvel poo poo in their own parks because Marvel sold those exclusive rights to Universal (and Universal's giving them up as much as Fox is gonna give back Fantastic Four or the X-Men, and for the same reasons).

I think I might have some extra Legion flight rings too, they were a Heroclix object but made inexplicably as full-size wearable rings, so I got two, one for the game and one to wear. And then I inherited the leftover stuff when that venue folded and I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of Legion rings.

I thought it was fine in Batman Begins, since with Batman it's somewhat the point that everything he's doing is so fast and confusing that all you're left with is an oddly-moving black shape and then it's gone and you've been beaten up.
