Yes, the store is more likely a homage to Deadpool's creator than a dig at Liefeld.

Well, opinions on Liefeld are pretty mixed actually. He's a credit hog who was big on creators owning their creations instead of the bosses until he was a boss. Also his speed as an artist took a dive after he left Marvel. There was also the time he got in trouble for ripping off Captain America where Marvel had to threaten to sue him because it was so close.

It takes between 20-30 minutes for water to go from mouth to bladder, and Santa's schedule is very tight - he's not going to be able to stop for a break.
