The 2 minute highlights are available on mlssoccer.com and easily accessible from the match page. The 4 minute "extented highlights" are available on their mobile app, which is so poo poo they have to put the only good thing they produce on it. You can't get to them from the match page either, you have to scroll past all the individual goal videos in the "Goals & Highlights" section to find them. The 20 minute condensed games are available on MLS Live. Edit: The funny thing is, if you intercept the traffic from the app, you can see the extended highlight pages still exist, but they explicitly deny permission to them: http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2017/03/12/san-jose-earthquakes-vs-vancouver-whitecaps-extended-highlights. The video streams are also listed and play in VLC. But nope, they really want you to use their poo poo app. tk fucked around with this message at 17:44 on Mar 12, 2017 |

Seltzer posted:Uhh, ok. In fact I'm actually really glad we have 80% attendance because I can get a 20 dollar ticket basically on the pitch anytime I want. There are sounders fans paying like 80 bucks for lovely tickets or put on waiting lists lol. There's nothing wrong with enjoying cheap tickets and empty stands. It's fun, and that's why I would go to a Reign or USL game. But low attendance and cheap tickets aren't because you "support an original franchise" or that you "like soccer instead of the concept of soccer", it's because your team is putting out a poo poo product in a poo poo location that people don't want to go to. They aren't keeping attendance down on purpose because they were founded earlier or have a fan purity test before they sell you tickets. You also seem to be grossly misinformed about the cost and experience of attending a game at CenturyLink field.

What does the MLS relocation process even look like? Do the other owners have to approve it or anything?

GOOD TIMES ON METH posted:MLS would be much better off if FC Cincinnati and their 20k+ crowds were in MLS next year by getting promoted or whatever. As opposed to some expansion process that will take years and squander all local excitement by requiring the team step on the throats of local government to get a stadium paid for that they can not afford to build along with the expansion fee. Sure, but Cincinnati is, what, 12th in total points in the USL? They wouldn’t be going anywhere.

I do not think I could be any less excited about watching another Seattle-Toronto final. I’m sure it will be a bit more exciting than last year’s given the changes to the teams, but still.

I was all ready to go at the end of the season, but that was forever ago. I’ve been on two vacations since then.

From the Columbus Dispatch: http://www.dispatch.com/news/20171206/lawmaker-wants-to-use-law-passed-after-browns-move-to-block-crew-from-leaving quote:The basis for the action, he said, is a 1996 law that says no owner of a professional sports team in Ohio that uses tax-supported facilities or gets public financial assistance can move out of town unless the owner gives six months advance notice and gives the city or local individuals who reside in the area the opportunity to purchase the team. What "the opportunity to purchase the team" means isn't clear, and it hasn't been tested in court. Would be awesome if it worked or made things difficult for Precourt though (and then every other state subsequently passed the same law).
