 Tokyo 42 is an upcoming action title from SMAC Games and is being published by Mode7 (Frozen Synapse). It is inspired by classics like Syndicate and GTA1. You’re a budding freelance assassin in a world where sinister forces are at play, taking on missions to pay your way and becoming embroiled in all sorts of cyber-shenanigans. It’s viewed from an isometric perspective but the camera can be rotated to reveal every facet of its intricately designed open-world. Bullet physics, jumping with air control, sneaky stealth, and crowd simulation will all play a role in the ultra-colourful kinetic frenzy. There are also cats. • Story The story will focus on a drug, NanoMed, that people take to live forever. The player will investigate motivations and implications of such a drug. • When/How can I play? Tokyo 42 will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
