There was probably some idling while I messed on my phone or whatever but I doubt it was two hours of it. I do spend a lot of time looking for stuff to press X at though.

You can switch any time you like. Movie subs are a separate option that also needs to be toggled on and so far the game is kind of weird about what it does and doesn't bother subtitling in them.

It's dumb because I don't think it even streams the rest in seamlessly, you can play up to what 4gb gets you then you have to wait for the whole of the rest to download before you can get any further.

The lack of save points is definitely a thing though, as far as I can tell it's only your room, dungeon entrance and safe rooms in dungeons and that's it?

Just got ambushed by an enemy that appeared out of nowhere and then four enemies Life Drained my MC from full health to dead without any chance to do anything, good times.

You go in to the first dungeon relatively quickly but to get the point where I could actually explore unscripted was ~6 hours for me though apparently it's more like 4 for most people.

Fuuuuck, I knew I was running on fumes but it was just one more fight, then I was gonna run back to the safe room. There's way too many situations where you can get a game over through no fault of your own for that to be safe.

Finally brat the first palace, I'm amazed anyone managed to do it in one day, it took me four including calling card day, it's a lot more punishing on normal than i remember either 3 or 4 being.
