Both of an ex's parents and three of her grandparents used a middle name instead of their first name. The remaining grandparent used one of his two middle names instead of his first name. They were poorish white southern Americans. meme unrelated:

One good thing that Penn State did in re football during the Paterno era was make sure that the players were students, too. They didn't get bullshit classes, and if they flunked one of your classes, there was no blowback, like I've heard of at other Big Sportsball Schools. One bad thing they did was allow a pedophile unfettered access to campus facilities while covering up his hideous crimes. Perfectly unbalanced.

It turns out this one isn't true... they just use the banana esters, which may taste more like the Gros Michel, but if they do it's just by chance edit: Empty Sandwich has a new favorite as of 21:12 on Oct 13, 2019 |

Malcolm Turnbeug posted:It’s insane to me that you could look at a temperature scale positioned around the temperatures water boils and freezes at and go ‘THIS IS BULLSHIT’ like what is the F scale actually even meant to represent? I’m genuinely curious bc I didn’t grow up with it so maybe there’s a reason why it’s so fuckin weird and arbitrary, or rather why it isn’t he set 0 as the coldest thing he could measure (a mixture of salt and ice). water freezes at 32 and boils at 212, so despite the apparently arbitrary numbers, there are 180 degrees in between. 100 is human body temperature, except that he hosed up and it's actually 98.6. it's a human-based scale, like a lot of the standard/imperial/American units. plus that stuff about 69 and 420. also Chintu you piece of poo poo
