GBF is based on Billy Mitchell of video game high score and King of Kong fame who recently had all his records pulled due to cheating accusations, notably submitting tapes of his records that were made using MAME instead of official arcade hardware.

Episode 4’s drat ballista.rain was like a drat anime. Jon Snow should have hopped from projectile to projectile toward the boats, occasionally slicing one in half lengthwise with his katana.

The only failure of stupid western action shows is that they never go full Japanese stupid.

And of course it should be voiced by Japanese voice actors since they've perfected the art like no human could ever hope to.

Speed Grapher theme was Duran Duran in the Japanese version, and I feel like I saw an English dub that used J Geils Band but I cant find any reference to this now. Maybe a different timeline?

Either way, that’s not too bad, as far as anime music is concerned.

Girls on Film was such an amazing song for that opening. Catching it in the US was a real letdown because they couldn't line up the rights.

I guess my question is is that normal?

When I was younger I helped train Labrador Retrievers for a professional trainer and you could make 2 bucks a pigeon selling them to the trainer to use for the training so kids would go into silos and capture a bunch to make extra money. Never did it myself.
