Crappy Jack posted:Yeah, it was interesting to see how it starts off as kind of a fun typical Edgar Wright thing (mirroring how Baby is ignoring the cost of what he's doing), and then gradually starts to turn into a full-on 70's gritty car chase drama. Yeah, the controlled downward spiral of the narrative is probably my favorite thing about this movie. By the time it starts wrapping up its second act, nobody's laughing; things have gotten so hosed up and white-knuckle tense that they've forgotten how to breathe.
