I did the nortwest youth corps. It sounds pretty similar to the kinds of stuff you are doing but at a much lower level. Build trails, make minimum wage, work with idiots. I suggest you buy a bug net for your head. Nothing drives a man to insanity like rebuilding a rotted log bridge over a swamp. The advantage is that to this day I dont swell up from mosquitoes for more than a minute or two.

Do you have people added to your crew throughout the year? It seems like you would have to but you have only mentioned people getting fired.
