the way they handled bullet time in multi was really cool. the way they completely failed to handle cheating killed the game though

Max payne 2 is one of my favorite games of all time and i replay it once a year at least. I just replayed mp3 late last year and the story is still total garbage but i enjoyed the gunplay as long as you don't use cover. The last mission in the airport terminal when the music kicks in is the best part of the game.

Max is a really unlucky guy. He tries to be a good person but everyone has it out for him. I continually feel sorry for a fictional character. Max Payne 2 is so much easier than 1 though, simply cause the bind to go into bullet time wasn't paired with the dive by default. But if you aren't diving into every doorway you are missing out.

I didn't like the actual final final action in 2 as well as the first but the ending is really good. I love that last line, great games all around.

I thought mp3 did cover pretty well. It was fun doing bullet time dodges from behind cover. Felt more like what you'd see in an action movie. I still liked first one the best
