They are very alike in terms of ability and history. 1. Both are power obsessed, driven to reach the highest political position in the land, Griffith dreams of being king while Hillary is obsessed with becoming president 2. Both inspire fanatic loyalty despite leading their band of followers to their eventual doom. This is similar to how Hillary men think Hillary is some sort of one of kind messiah and how she hired Yes men for her inner circle like Huma 3. Both don't care about the consequences of their quest for power and see their supporters as tool to achieve their end goal 4. In many ways Bernie is like Guts, he is defeated by Hillary but eventually overcomes her by becoming the trusted face of progressive similar. This is similar to how in the Manga Guts loses his first duel against Griffith but later is able to defeat him. Very similar to Bernie losing the primary but becoming the real face of the progressive movement 5. Due to bad decisions both characters end up getting destroyed at the time they get close to achieve their main goal. This is similar to Griffith going to town on Princess Charlotte's tits after he gets defeated and abandoned by Guts. Going to town on Princess Charlotte is a forced error by Griffith similar to how Hillary lost the general election due to running a horrible campaign and having lots of personality weaknesses 6. The Advent is basically Trump winning leading to Hillary's band of followers being destroyed, this has much in common with how Hillary's quest for power leads to the destruction her followers and also the end of her dream for winning political power 7. Like Griffith Hillary is seen as being the perfect leader and fighter, it would be impossible to lose. Instead both people end up being undone by their various personality weaknesses.
