For those curious, Season 1 covered chapters 1-21, Season 2 covered chapters 21(some overlap)-69, and Season 3 will almost undoubtedly cover chapters 70-95 or 97.

Only like a dozen or so are actually about Deku and Bakugou's relationship, and less than that chapters that explicitly ONLY focus on their relationship. It's not 100 chapters of Bakugoing lovely NERD at the world around him.

One for All was also not an inheritable power and Deku was completely quirkless, which is fun to think about when you realize that the entire story relies on Deku and All Might's bond through OfA, as well as forming the entire backbone of the backstory of the big bad.

You are absolutely underestimating Shigaraki's combat abilities. Look back to the first attack. He took an elbow from Aizawa and didn't mind, and he was punched (well, at least some sort of attack) by All Might when he saved Deku, Mineta and Tsuyu and kept standing. When the three were in the water, he closed the gap between them in an instant. And all he needs to do is touch someone with five fingers to kill them. Aizawa lucked out because of his quirk. The reason it looked like it took a long time for his quirk to do any damage was literally because of the animated format. Shigaraki is "weak" in the general shounen sense, yes. He has many counters and he's far from this invincible threat that you need a training montage to beat. He left the first fight he was in in the show as a bleeding mess on the floor. But he's definitely got more under the hood than what is basically a short-range instakill quirk.

Yeah, Sero spent about five seconds of that fight in a conscious state. What he did helped, but you can't really call what happened teamwork.
